School District Enrichment Services (MTSDES) is proud to offer Elementary
Theatre during the 2026-2027 school year! 🎶 The MTSDES Elementary Theatre Initiative
aims to offer all learners an immersive, high-quality artistic experience where
they grow as performers, collaborators, and confident storytellers. At the
conclusion of our programs, we hope to have created a passion for life-long
learning in the performing arts.

🤔 WHY ELEMENTARY THEATRE MATTERS | Elementary Theatre is more
than an after-school activity – it is a meaningful extension of the school-day
experience that encourages students to explore creativity, build confidence
& develop essential communication & collaboration skills.
🎭 PERFORMANCE & THEATRE
SKILLS | Students
develop foundational skills in acting, vocal expression, stage movement &
performance preparation. Through guided instruction & rehearsal, students
learn how to use their voices, bodies & imaginations to bring stories &
characters to life.
🎶 CREATIVE EXPRESSION &
STORYTELLING | Theatre
provides students with a unique opportunity to explore creativity, character
development & imaginative storytelling. Through scripts, music, movement
& performance, students discover how individual ideas come together to
create meaningful experiences for an audience.
🤝 COLLABORATION &
ENSEMBLE CULTURE | Theatre
is a true team experience. Students learn to listen, communicate, encourage one
another & contribute to a shared goal. By working together as an ensemble,
students build friendships, develop empathy & experience the power of
collaboration.

GROWTH | From
the first rehearsal to the final performance, students build confidence,
resilience & pride in their accomplishments. MTSD Elementary Theatre
encourages students to take creative risks, step outside their comfort zones
& discover their unique voice in a supportive environment.
