Code & Conquer (PLTW)| GR 2-3 | 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Join us for the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Grids & Games Adventure program, where students will explore coding & game design in a fun, hands-on way! Using the PLTW Grids & Games module, campers will learn to create their own interactive grid-based games, diving into key concepts like algorithms, sequencing, & debugging. Students will work in teams to solve challenges, design characters, & build their own games. By the end of the program, students will have gained valuable skills in coding, problem-solving, & teamwork – all while having fun!

Deep Sea Exploration: VEX GO!| GR 4-5 | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Join our VEX GO Ocean Science Exploration program, where students will design, build, & program underwater robots using VEX GO Competition kits. Students will work in teams to solve ocean exploration challenges, from navigating underwater environments to collecting data, while learning about marine science & ecosystems. 

By the end of the program, teams will compete in a thrilling VEX GO competition, showcasing their robots & skills. This learning modules offers students interested in competitive robotics & computer science a fun, hands-on experience in STEM, robotics & environmental exploration!

JULY 21 – AUG 1 | MON – FRI | $295.00 PROGRAM FEE

MTSD FIRST LEGO League | GR 3-5: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM | GR 6-8: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Join us for this two-week FIRST Lego League (FLL) learning module that is driven by the Lego Spike Prime & Lego Spike Prime Expansion systems. Students will grow their critical thinking, coding & design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.  In addition to the coding, assembling & competing with their robots, the students will demonstrate & apply the MTSD FLL program’s Core Values:  Discovery, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, Teamwork, Fun. Through these core values, the MTSD FLL will blend STEM & the humanities in an authentic & practical way that aligns directly with the Monroe Township School District’s curricular goals.

VEX Olympics | GR 5-9 | Group A: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM | Group B: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM 
The VEX IQ Olympic Camp introduces students to the exciting world of VEX IQ Robotics, where they will build, program, & compete in Olympic-style events. Students will learn the basics of VEX IQ, including assembling robots, using motors & sensors, & writing code to complete tasks. Working in teams, students will develop strategies, problem-solve, & take on roles such as engineers & programmers. Throughout the program, students will compete in “Robotics Olympic Games,” earning medals in categories like speed, precision & innovation. VEX Olympics introduces core STEM concepts, fostering critical thinking, collaboration, & passion for robotics. With hands-on experiences in both competition & teamwork, students will leave the program with new skills & confidence in their abilities to innovate. Students entering 9th grade will also get a taste of using the VEX V5 robotics system, expanding their skills beyond the VEX IQ platform as they explore the more advanced V5 systems in preparation for future robotics challenges.

AUG 4 – AUG 8 | MON – FRI | $175.00 PROGRAM FEE

Chem Quest | GR 2-3 | 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Get ready for a fun-filled adventure at the Chem Quest Summer Learning Experience! In this hands-on learning module, students will dive into exciting science experiments including, but not limited to building a volcano, creating a slime factory & even making ice cream in a bag! Through engaging activities, campers will explore the wonders of chemistry while having a blast alongside their peers. Chem Quest is the perfect way to spark curiosity & ignite a love for science in a fun, interactive summer learning environment!

Summer STEAM Storm | GR 3-5 | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Join us for the Summer STEAM Storm Learning Experience, where science, technology, engineering, art, & math come together for an exciting hands-on learning opportunity! Participating students will learn about circuits, code Sphero robots, engineer bucket towers, create colorful sun catchers, & design egg drop challenges. With each activity, students will develop valuable skills while exploring the fun side of STEAM. It’s a week of creativity, problem-solving, & discovery that will inspire young minds to think outside the box!

Summer Sphero Sessions | GR 3-5: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM | GR 6-8: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Join us for the return of the of last summer’s most popular, new program: MTSD Summer Sphero Sessions! Dive into the world of coding through hands-on activities with Sphero robots. In this program, students will learn the basics of programming while engaging in fun challenges to navigate Sphero robots through obstacle courses, mazes, & more. With a focus on creativity & problem-solving, coders will develop essential coding skills in a dynamic & supportive environment.
